FEE SCHEDULE FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RENDERED

Inspections, Investigative Research, Reports, Office Consultation, Trial and Deposition2 Related Appearances, etc. are billed per hour (in 0.10-hour increments) for services performed, plus travel time, if any, at the following rates:

• David A. Mitchell, Metallurgical Engineer - $420
• Technical Staff - $200
• Clerical Staff - $100

Travel, lodging, and out-of-pocket expenses are billed additionally. When project needs or client requests call for red-eye (overnight) flights, travel will be booked at and billed at First Class rates. When it is possible to work on two or more projects on a given trip, time and travel expenses will be shared among the clients involved. Personal vehicle mileage billed at the prevailing Federal rate.
 

Digital photography will be utilized with high-resolution images delivered via a link to a secure web-based album (Google Photos Album preferred, Dropbox available) at no charge.
 

1 Terms of Net-30 will be offered to established accounts. Invoices remaining unpaid after 60 days will be assessed a late fee of 1% of the entire unpaid balance each month commencing with the invoice due date. A retainer will be requested from new clients or clients with an unsatisfactory payment history.

2 When deposition testimony is requested by a party that is not an established account, payment for professional time and expenses will be made by cash or check at the conclusion of the deposition.
